"Matushka"

I have discovered the most precious thing! Just outside my bathroom window in a young apple tree, there is a mother hummingbird sitting on her eggs. If only I knew how to add a picture, I would do so. I named her "Matushka" after the practice of the Russian Orthodox Church calling the priest's wife Matushka - meaning "little mother." Opps, I think I have found the way to add a picture. 'Scuse me while I practice!

Wow! It appears to have worked! Now I've got two things to be excited about.

Every day I take a peek (several times a day) at Matushka and wonder if she could think, what would she be thinking.
